Dutch term or phrase: activering
Maatschappelijke Steun heeft op verschillende locaties activeringsprogramma’s voor vaak dak- en thuisloze verslaafden met meervoudige en complexe problematiek,

I don't know which word to use for this term, which basically means getting (ex) addicts active again. Reintegration has already been used in other contexts in this document. The only use of 'Activating' I have found is the opposite of what is intended, more as a trigger for addiction. I need a simple word/phrase, because activeren is also used as a title...

neutral  freekfluweel: "rehab" wordt meestal geassocieerd met ALLEEN de medische kant, hier komt ook re-integratie in de maatschappij i.h.a. bij kijken.

-> 'Rehabilitation' is volgens Merriam Webster ook "the process of restoring an individual to a useful and constructive place in society especially through some form of vocational, correctional, or therapeutic retraining."

Activeringstraject

agree  Tina Vonhof (X): Maybe 'social and work skills'. Getting them ready to go back to work also seems to be an important component.

-> "working skills" could be added, depending on the specific context. I considered it as well. See for example: http://tinyurl.com/nvg5e2p

Volgens mij kan je dat "activeren" ook vertalen als "herintreden".

"activeren" kan alleen als er al iets bestaat (in dit geval de ex-verslaafde), dus "her" lijkt dan goed te passen.

bijna hetzelfde woord als "reintegration" maar is het niet ;-)
