on-net calls Explanation: I think 'internal calls' probably works okay in the context, but some voip providers refer to 'on-net' calls. Calls within the company's or provider's network (i.e. on-net, which could include physically remote offices on the same network) are free, while off-net calls are chargeable. -> "With our VoIP business phone system, On-Net calls (internet or VoIP to VoIP) are free and unlimited. Enable your co-workers so that you can talk to them for free, whether they are in the next room, building, city or on the other side of the world - they are just one extension away!" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 27 mins (2010-11-03 13:19:24 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Here's how a UK-based voip provider phrases the same concept: "Other key information on call charges: - Calls between your VoIP-enabled offices are free. - Call to anyone else on Gradwell VoIP are free. internal calls Explanation: A fair number of hits, especially in connection with VOIP. See google search at http://tinyurl.com/37hjvdr -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2010-11-03 13:55:22 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Olly - I went off for lunch and came back to find that in the meantime there have been a lot of discussion entries and you have posted the original text which was not there when I gave my answer, the latter having been based on what you wrote when posting the question. In my humble opinion, having sight of your Dutch text, the only interpretation you can give to "onderling gratis bellen" is "call each other free". Your text is not specific enough to deduce whether this is an in-house or in-company system or, as Chris has suggested, an "on-net" arrangement. |
