Hier etwas Kontext:
"De simpele eivormige uitvoering, werd heel lang gebruikt. Totdat aan het einde van de 18e eeuw het loopslot werd uitgevonden. Dit loopslot bestond uit een stukje hout of metaal dat in het kozijn stak. Met zo’n heel simpel ei-vormig knopje werd het loopslot geopend en gesloten. Dat was een stevigere afsluiting dan wat voorheen beschikbaar was.

Helaas kwamen bij dit loopslot nogal eens vingers klem te zitten tussen de knop en het kozijn bij het openen of sluiten van een deur. Maar ook daar werd uiteindelijk een oplossing voor bedacht. Aan een zijde werd de knop wat langer gemaakt. Bovendien werd deze langere knop dwars op het kozijn gezet. De allereerste simpele uitvoering van de deurkruk was ontstaan! Nog steeds in vrij basic uitvoeringen, maar een hele verbetering op wat er was."

Es ist das Schnappschloss geworden; 3 statt 4 Pünktchen weil bisher nicht zur Gänze geklärt werden konnte, ob dies tatsächlich das Schloss ist, das der Kunde meint. Danke Susanne - und Hans!
