English term or phrase: To mud-and-tape
"Mud and tape" is taken from the following context:
The construction team has started to mud and tape the walls and ceilings.''
It probably means to put mud on the walls as part of construction and to tape it, but I don't know its term in Arabic...

Thanks so much.

Explanation:
well you got it right it's just putting mud and tape on the walls
the mud is before finishing the paint job
and tape is for covering the parts not supposed to be painted
