Therefore, when you translate the sentence to Arabic, I would suggest that you rephrase it thus: "The killer used IMI 9mm subsonic ammo with a suppressor." In other words, insert مع كاتم صوت at the end of the sentence. Other alternatives: وكاتم صوت إضافةً إلى كاتم صوت Suppressors are also called silencers. I have seen them called both كاتم صوت and كاتمة صوت. In truth, I don't know why they don't just call them كاتم or كاتمة. |
