Given the need to provide a translation that renders the target phrase word to word, I guess Mr. Achahbar's suggestion in the discussion entries ''كل مظهر من مظاهر الحياة'' does fulfill that requirement better than my suggestion. Thanks heaps for your support.

Sometimes clients insist on certain nuances that are hard to render, as is the case here, few translators would stop at "each and every" (I wouldn't), but when a client demands it, the translator feels stripped of his/her ability to "dire autrement", and has to say the same thing in the same way, and there is only so much we can do before sacrificing correctness and acceptability in the target language.

This is a purely technical question: under what circumstances would it be necessary to translate a phrase/a piece of text word to word? Is it EVER the client's choice or is it ALWAYS the translator's?

If it's absolutely necessary to keep the source expression, here is my suggestion
كل مظهر من مظاهر الحياة

It is a collocation I guess. So, it must be translated collectively.
