The basic principle of the eggshell skull rule is that the Defendant in a civil case must take full responsibility for all the damages that they caused to the victim, regardless of the fact that the particular Plaintiff was more susceptible than a normal person may have been.
Sure thing, Adel. I praise your attitude. I will be posting my answer shortly. And wishing for a neutral, professional judgment away from spites, by those who've already answered here and others.
Thanks, Adel. My only concern here was that all those who answered didn't pause to think about what they suggested. This is legal domain, my dear colleagues! As promised, Adel, I have the answer but I'm still giving a chance for others to contribute theirs.
My dear colleague, we've already established that "Eggshell Skull" was a metaphor, while your introduction of "Trojan Horse" as an example to serve your point actually ruins it as there is no metaphor in here. it was an actual horse, a wooden one, used in the Trojan War to covertly infiltrate into the city of Troy. Let's pause for a second and imagine this scenario: a respectful Arabic lawyer standing in the courthouse and asking the honorable judge to enforce قاعدة قشرة البيضة as you've put it! Do you find this appropriate? Perhaps later the judge will ask the lawyer to specify what kind of بيضة it is, because -you know- a pigeon's egg is different from a chicken's, a duck's, a turkey's, etc.! Don't betray your colleagues and the whole Arab community that sometimes depend on this KudoZ section just so you can collect few points and feel good about yourself. Any mention of بيض or قشر or جماجم is a pure insult to the very nature of this terminology, the domain it belongs to, and the people it's meant to represent.
To cut a long story short, let's take the "Trojan horse" phrase as an example, this is one. Now, in the absence of an alternative or a better approximation, i.e. proposed translation from someone who knows about the theory of translation and linguistics, and just to beat about the bush, rather than hit the core of the issue; I believe this has nothing to do with what is usually termed "professional attitude". An article on the following link may help illustrate the point. However, one can read about this topic elsewhere to learn more about the intricate aspect of the theory of translation and linguistics. Thank you for your feedback. https://www.academia.edu/3836918/Descriptive_and_Theoretical...
Remember, dear colleagues, the correct translation is NOT always the first one that comes to mind. Sometimes, you have to take your time and brainstorm for a while, and in other times - when blocked - you will have to refrain from answering altogether.
I had to intervene on this one, but I'm seeing incorrect answers being provided and chosen on a daily basis, which will consequently deteriorate the Arabic content.
I'm leaving the stage for you to come up with better answers. If that fails, I will intervene with mine.
Also, the question needs to be re-classified, as it's clearly not poetry nor literature!

You take your victim as you find them.
