تاليت ممسوح، شال صلاة ممسوح Explanation: Considering that the text is about the apostolic period of Christianity, I am inclined to think that the reference is to the Jewish practice of wearing a tallit (a prayer shawl), a practice that was pretty common among the Apostles and their contemporaries. As to the anointing, that is pretty straightforward. |
