Превеждам Удостоверение за семейно положение, необходимо за сключване на граждански брак на български гражданин с чужденец в чужбина. Първоначално го написах по следния начин, буквално - CERTIFICATE of marital status, necessary for conclusion of marriage of Bulgarian citizen with a foreigner abroad. След това обаче в нета срещнах следното - Certificate of No Impediment. Въпросът ми е как е по-правилно да го напиша?

Въпрос на формулировка и местни изисквания на закона.

В някои страни наистина изискват Certificate of No Impediment, Certificate of Freedom to Marry, a в САЩ - Affidavit of Eligibility to Marry.

В нашия случай Family Status Certificate е удостоверение за семейно положение, в което се посочва разбираемо дали лицето има сключен брак или не. :)

Чак сега прочетох по-ранните си коментари и е възможно те да бъдат интерпретирани неправилно. Имах предвид, че причините за различните наименования са по-скоро географски и на наложена употреба в съответната държава, а не на нейната законова уредба. Моля за извинение. :)
