За общата постановка вижте въпроса за tap.

Тук нещата като че ли са по-ясни: „влача“. Но всъщност алтернативата е „провлачвам“ или „извлачвам“? Или друго?

Вариантът „плъзгам“, който е често използваният за drag(-and-drop) с мишка, носи риск от объркване със stroke/slide/swipe (вижте съответния въпрос).

Explanation:
Има известна опасност от застъпване с move, но не мисля, че е чак толкова голяма.
"Влача" никога не ми е харесвало особено, защото не може да се направи добра повелителна форма: "провлачете иконата" е доста неблагозвучно за мен.

Усетих се, че това предложение става само когато drag е употребен като преходен глагол. За съжаление се случва drag да се използва и без посочен обект. Тогава не знам какво би било подходящо - "влачете" / "провлачете" пак не става, защото и този глагол е преходен.
