Charles R. Entweder meinte der Texter "jusqu'au bout des doigts", also vollständig, uneingeschränkt oder es geht darum, dass alle Funktionen leicht zugänglich sind, "in Reichweite" sozusagen. Im dem Fall wären dann "per Mausklick" oder "im Handumdrehen" tatsächlich passend. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass hier die zweite Möglichkeit gemeint ist.

Charles R. Die französische Version ist praktisch eine beinah wortwörtliche Übersetzung vom Englischen. In der Englischen Version heisst es "at your fingertips", was mit meinem Vorschlag zusammenpasst. At your fingertips: 1. in Reichweite, griffbereit 2. sofort verfügbar / zugänglich

Caro Maucher Immer gerne genommen, wenn auch nicht sonderlich originell, wäre "Einfach per Mausklick". Das "Einfach" transportiert dabei auch Charles' Konzept von "in Reichweite" / "zugänglich".

Expertlang das würde passen und diplomatisch das Dilemma lösen, ob es sich jetzt um "per Mausklick" oder "zur Hand" handelt eventuell auch "Per Mausklick einfach gemacht"

Caro Maucher In diesem Sinn kenne ich den Ausdruck nicht, was ja nichts heißen muss, aber man findet diese Bedeutung auch weder im Online-Duden noch auf anderen entsprechenden Webseiten. Aber selbst wenn, fände ich es trotzdem unglücklich, hier diese Formulierung zu wählen, die jedenfalls auch eine negative Bedeutung hat.

Doch woher kommt diese Redewendung? Zur Erklärung muss man einige Jahrhunderte zurückreisen, nämlich ins Mittelalter, also zu den "ersten Büchern".
