Beta vulgaris Cicla Group CHENOPODIACEAE
Also called perpetual spinach or spinach beet, with edible stems and leaves. It can crop year-round. Similar in flavour to spinach, but more reliable.

Prevodim "enciklopediju organskog vrtlarstva". Znam da je "beetroot" "cikla", "beet" uglavnom "repa", a "beet, leaf" sam prvo preveo kao blitva jer sam tako negdje našao. No, onda sam u tekstu naišao na biljku "chard" što je opet blitva. Latinsko im je ime jednako. Uobičajeni prijevod za "beet" je "repa", pa bi možda "leaf beet" bila "repa lišćarka", no nisam nikada čuo da neko povrće tako slično zovemo. Mora da ipak imamo neki drugi naziv za to. Opet, znam da se kod nas uzgajaju dvije "vrste" blitve. Jedna ima više lišća, a tanje peteljke, a druga obrnuto... Možda je to ta razlika, no kako se zovu?

Blitva (Beta vulgaris ssp. cicia) je lisnato povrće zagasito zelene boje, uzgaja se uglavnom u priobalju. Postoje dvije vrste blitve: lisnata i rebrasta.
Možda je to lisnata vrsta, kao što ste i sami objasnili.

Ovo je samo predlog. Ne znam pravo ime, ali mislim da je ipak u pitanju blitva.
