"knees up" je proslava s igrankom, prvobitno u stilu uličnih proslava s kraja I i II Svetskog rata u Engleskoj, ništa uporedivo s današnjim diskotekama po stilu, iako "knees up" isto traje svega par sati.
Staromodna fešta u nekom "malom mistu" mi jedino pada na pamet kao nešto približno uporedivo,

"knees up" je proslava s igrankom, prvobitno u stilu uličnih proslava s kraja I i II Svetskog rata u Engleskoj, ništa uporedivo s današnjim diskotekama po stilu, iako "knees up" isto traje svega par sati.

Asker: Hvala (opet), i mislio sam da je takvo nešto, problem je što nisam pronašao odgovarajući prijevod. Fešta mi uopće ne zvuči loše, samo što još nisam siguran treba li možda nešto "jače" od fešte - za što ne mogu smisliti prijevod.

agree  bonafide1313: ovaj agree nije "suglasnost" u pravom smislu riječi, jer, iskreno, nisam znala što je "knees up", ovo je više kao "hvala na poduci" i na, koliko se meni čini, lijepom rješenju

  -> I mene je potpuno zbunilo prvi put. Hvala!// in actual fact one of the popular dance moves was literally "lifting knees up" thus it was called a "knees up"
