Ovaj put me muči termin "lance" - bi li to možda bila mlaznica?

Evo konteksta:

Situacija je bitno jasnija sada; u nastavku teksta je naveden termin nozzles of the lance i lance tube - kako bi onda to trebalo prevesti - mlaznice koplja??? i cijev koplja ili postoje točniji stručni termini.
