I'm a bit in doubt as to the exact wording. Gyldendals Røde (the technical terms bit) has "indspænding" but I'm not sure it can be used here. The context is: "At the same time tangential deviations, e.g. caused by deflection as well as translational displacements, e.g. caused by thermal modifications, will be compensated by deformation of the high-grade elastomer with low restraint."
