Losse poeders zijn voornamelijk gemaakt om na je foundation/concealer de huid te matteren en de make-up te fixeren. Dat eerste zorgt ervoor dat je er niet uitziet als en oliebol aan het einde van de dag en het laatste zorgt ervoor dat je eerder aangebrachte make-up de gehele dag op zijn plaats blijft.
