nulaansluiting Explanation: Om het bij ons gebruikelijke elektrische circuit rond te maken heb je naast de fasedraad (aanvoerdraad van de stroom) een nuldraad (retourdraad, afvoer van de stroom), daarnaast kan er een aardedraad voor ontlading/veiligheid zijn. https://www.elektra-info.nl/bedrading.html Het is verwarrend maar de nulaansluiting (retourstroom) wordt soms return ground genoemd. Verwarrend, omdat het begrip 'ground return' een eenfase-aansluiting betreft waarbij er geen retourdraad is maar de aarde wordt gebruikt voor de afvoer van de stroom, zoals bij elektriciteitsnetwerken in o.a. In the event of doubt of whether or not the provision is an "earth" ground or a "return" ground, the device is to be found in this and the indented subclasses. (2) Note. In the transmission of low voltage electricity, it is not unusual to utilize the framework of structure to serve as a return for electricity.
