Anyway I found that in Dutch you can also use the English term. Het is een percentage van de whisky dat tijdens het rijpingsproces uit het vat verdampt. Dit wordt in het Nederlands ook Engelendeel genoemd. Dit verlies is normaal gesproken circa 2% per jaar. Een wel eens gehoorde grap is dat de huidige wanorde op de wereld te wijten is aan het feit dat de engelen in de hemel constant dronken zijn.
