agree  Kitty Brussaard: Dit lijkt me een prima oplossing. Ik zou 'operations' normaliter eerder vertalen met 'activiteiten' maar er is te weinig context om hier echt iets zinnigs over te kunnen zeggen.

  -> Dank je, Kitty. Ik ben het daar weer met jou eens, maar omdat er toch verwijzingen zijn naar de EU, dacht ik dat het wel eens om een 'operatie' in EU-verband (en dus jargon) zou kunnen gaan.
