I know what "non-reliance" means, i.e. not relying on the information given, but do not know the expression in Dutch.

Het lijkt me dat hier wordt bedoeld: als de ene partij een van haar verplichtingen niet nakomt, ontslaat dat de andere partij niet van haar verplichtingen.

Hoi Willemina, je hebt helemaal gelijk. Misschien is het een optie om het in het NL te laten staan met een uitleg tussen haakjes erachter. Ik vond dit (maar wel Vlaams) https://www.law.kuleuven.be/apps/jura/public/art/46n1/vaasse... en een definitie van non-reliance clause in https://definitions.uslegal.com/n/non-reliance-clause/ die je misschien voor je uitleg/toelichting kunt gebruiken. Succes!

Asker: Nee, het gaat hier niet om niet-nakoming. Het gaat erom dat de ene partij niet op grond van alleen de informatie die hem/haar door de andere partij is verstrekt, een beslissing neem, contract aangaat etc.
