verzamelen Explanation: om zichzelf schatten in de hemel te verzamelen dit volgens mij ook weer ironisch bedoeld (zoals zoveel zinnen in het stukje) hij spot als je echt wilt 'to lay up a treasure in heaven' dan in het niet bepaald Bijbels om op aarde bezittingen te vergaren hij zegt dus in feite in plaats van te doen wat ze volgens de Bijbel zouden moeten doen; de dingen van hemel nastreven, streven ze puur aardse dingen na dit betreft een frase uit de Bijbel: In Mt 6:19-21, Jesus commands us to lay up treasure not on earth, but in heaven... http://executableoutlines.com/top/treasure.htm Mattheüs: Verzamel voor jezelf geen schatten op aarde: mot en roest vreten ze weg de dieven breken in om ze te stelen.
