English term or phrase: sluice pan
At its inboard end each discharge chute has, between one disk and the other, a sluice to allow for discharge of the stock which may have accumulated on the centershaft.
The sluice pans should be bolted to discharge hoppers before assembling sectors onto centershaft. This will avoid dainage to sector faces during sluice pan assembly.
