Volgens mij wordt er dan een kader (rechthoek) om de letters/woorden heen gezet. In Word kan dat niet meer, maar vroeger op de Atari was dat bijvoorbeeld een mogelijkheid in tekstprogramma's.

Asker: In het TM wordt Outline als omtrek vertaald en ik moet me hieraan houden. Zou Contour dan een goede vertaling kunnen zijn voor Enclosure (het zijn inderdaad drie verschillende mogelijkheden: Schaduw/Omtrek/?

agree  Ron Willems: precies. (het zijn dus wel 3 verschillende stijlen: schaduw / outline / omkaderd) zie ook http://www.caltabiano.net/shareware/rehearsal_font.html // nee, dat moet "contour" zijn i.p.v. outline/omtrek (zie b.v. "outline font" in Microsoft glossary)
