This may come too late to help you, but this is an area I am familiar with. I used to deal with the bio-chem agent detection while in the US Air Force. It is very difficult to translate into Finnish, so I had to do a "round-about" way of describing what the thing is all about - an initial test of an agent containing live (living) virus or bacteria
