Voici la description d'une fresque de l'artiste singapourien Ng Eng Teng:

"Among his many works at the NUS Museum is a Ciment Fondu mural titled Tropical Rhapsody (1972). Commissioned by the Garden Hotel for its hotel lounge, the work slipped into virtual oblivion after hotel renovations in the early 1980s saw a false wall built to cover it."

... Je ne vois pas du tout à quoi peut référer "Ciment Fondu" (avec majuscules initiales) ici. J'ai d'abord vu qu'il pouvait s'agit d'une marque de ciment (d'où, peut-être, les majuscules initiales utilisées en anglais; cf. http://www.cimentfondu.com/fr/artisans/FAQ.html), puis que le "ciment réfractaire" été utilisé par les sculpteurs (cf. notamment http://sculpture.forumactif.com/t1040-ciment-refractaire), mais je n'ai trouvé aucune desription en français des méthodes utilisées par cet artiste pour cette oeuvre.

d'utiliser du fondu pour un sculpteur:
- utilisable en pâte pure
- prise rapide (presque autant que le prompt)
- couleur: noir d'ébène en pâte pure à gris foncé en mortier
- résistance mécanique et chimique élevée, y compris aux intempéries, pluies acides, eau de mer
- bonne tolérance aux erreurs de dosage d'eau (le sculpteur n'est pas forcément passionné par le E/C idéal)
- réfractaire et résistant à la chaleur (pour un sculpteur qui voudrait souder une pièce à côté par exemple
