In 1966, the Fringe premiered Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, while more recently the Fringe was the platform that launched Stomp to the world.



The National Theatre of Scotland staged the premiere of Gregory Burke’s Black Watch in a former training corps drill hall in 2006 – it has been touring and winning awards ever since.
