Le kunqu, parfois également appelé kunju, est la plus vieille forme d'opéra chinois qui soit encore jouée. Le kunqu a été proclamé en 2001 puis inscrit en 2008 par l'UNESCO sur la liste représentative du patrimoine culturel immatériel de l'humanité.
