IT silos are technology centers with their own management and staff. Silos normally do not share the same priorities, values, or goals, and often they do not share the same tools.

Contrairement aux autres, je crois que les silos, ce ne sont pas des machines qui moulinent, mais plutôt des structures organisationnelles dont le travail reste cloisonné. Le silo, c'est surtout une métaphore et non pas une réalité concrète.

De nombreuses solutions sont possibles: s'acharner, par exemple, ou s'échiner, pour donner l'impression de labeur pénible. Consacrer renoue avec la métaphore de la cloison, du silo.
