Il s'agit ici d'un texte sur les systèmes de prévision des crues et des inondations aux États-Unis et au Canada.

Voici deux contextes:
1) Vertical coordinate information is REFERENCED TO (1) stage, the height above an arbitrary datum established at a lake gage, and (2) elevation, the height above the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD 29) and North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88).
2) As the 11 study area flood inundation maps are static maps, they can be REFERENCED TO any of the Lake gages on Lake Champlain.

Le sens de cette expression est clair (mesuré par rapport à une référence ou un repère), mais je me demande comment la rendre en français. Je trouve des occurrences de "référencé à...", mais est-ce bien l'expression à employer? Elle ressemble furieusement à un calque.
