English term or phrase: dry goods store
Bonsoir, je recherche le terme correspondant à dry goods store en français. Il y a eu une question Kudoz EN-GE à ce sujet et l'une des explications données correspond exactement au sens du terme dans mon contexte.

Quelqu'un aurait-il une idée ?

Merci ! :-)

Extrait de l'explication : "A dry goods store was the forerunner of the modern department store. Think of any old West movie you have seen. The dry goods store was the one that sold everything. Dresses, hats, guns, grain, flour, candy, tools, etc. So, it was more than just a textile shop, but the 'one-stop shop' of a bygone era."

magasin de nouveautés
Explanation:
Per Webster's and the GDT, this is the historical, literal translation. I think General Store (magasin général) has a slightly broader meaning and can still exist today in rural areas.

(But I still think magasin général fits the description in the text.)
