English to French translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Investment / Securities
English term or phrase: leased instrument
A borrowing of funds? bonds? securities? from a bank for a fee, which are then used to make investments, and then the leased instrument is returned to the bank after the money is made on the transaction(?) - it's from a document written by a non-native English speaker, and the explanation is very fuzzy.

Asker: Thank you for answering so quickly! You work with financial translations, then, or in banking somehow, I assume? (There isn't anything in your profile or with your answer...). Thanks in advance for reassurance - I appreciate your help. PW
