Where a Bank counterparty has a dedicated Prop business leg, and UBS dealt with the counterparty's Prop desk for a particular trade, we considered the trade to be a Prop trade. Even if not explicitly specified in the Harmonised Reporting format, due to the unclear nature of the business of some Funds/Banks, we reported some Prop desks under the Hedge Fund ("HF") classification because their "style" of trading reflected most closely that of a Hedge Fund
