Interview methods may differ considerably and create impeachment materials
Leading questions
Arrange for U.S. law enforcement officer participation if at all possible
Try to have foreign authorities videotape interview or, if possible, arrange for U.S. *Child Forensic Interviewer* to conduct interview

I have given a lot of context here, as I think it is helpful.

"Un intervieweur de la police scientifique pour les enfants"?

This (my attempt) seems to me a very poor translation and I would appreciate your translation suggestions.

I don't particularly even like the term "intervieweur" as we are talking about an interview with a victim of crime, and "intervieweur"sounds very casual.

On the other hand, interrogateur might sound too "agressive" (?) when dealing with a victim.

And finally I am not 100% sure that the interviewer mentioned is a police officer (police scientifique). Although it is very likely.

If anyone can come up with a really elegant and precise translation, I would be more than grateful!
