neutral  Attorney DC Bar: yes for the first part, but 'as a matter of course' doesn't mean 'en consequence', but something more like 'systematiquement' or 'naturellement'or 'automatiquement'...

  -> Je voulais écrire au début "en conséquence logique" et je reconnais que "systématiquement convient le mieux à défaut de "automatiquement" que recommandent les dictionnaires bilingues anglais-français
