Une reine se confesse avant son exécution :

I confess my innocence before God. I solemnly swear, on the damnation of my soul, that I have never been unfaithful to my lord and husband, nor ever offended
with my body against him. I do not say that I have always borne towards him the humility which I owed him, considering his kindness and the great honor he showed me, and the great respect he always paid me.

En tout cas cela ne veut PAS dire l'offenser en appuyant son corps contre lui, ce qu'il aurait peut-être préféré :-)

je n'ai jamais refusé de le gratifier de mon corps

Explanation:

This is my idea.

This is obviously a Victorian ( or even older ) text , when it was very offensive to refuse the sexual obligations for the husband. Women, i.e. wives had to be humble, pliable and obedient. ( puritan moral )

Since we already have " that I have never been unfaithful to my lord and husband " preceding it, it's another reason to believe that this portion of the text is not related to adultery, sexual sin or similar.

Ideally, this sentence should be written in the style of 19. century French.

neutral  cchat: No, it's Anne Boleyn, who was accused of all sorts of moral turpitude (incest, etc.) in order to clear the way for Jane Seyour after the death of Catherine of Aragon. http://tudorswiki.sho.com/page/Episode 2.10?t=anon
