English term or phrase: back in calf
Hi,
Does anyone know what this phrase means: to get/go back in/into calf.
It appears on a graph describing the Typical Dairy Production Cycle. Is it the moment when a cow can be fertilized again?
Any idea what's the French for that?
Thanks

Tony a raison : c'est mieux "à nouveau pleine".

neutral  Anna Quail: ... / Bonsoir.

agree  Tony M: 'à nouveau pleine' — I learnt that too from my farmer friends, but like you, worried about how colloquial it might be. Like when I innocently asked if a pregnant colleague had « mis bas » yet ? PTDR !
