(like "il pleut" / "il" qui?) but "bad press" / "presse défavorable" covers nowadays news published in any possible way, not only in the printed press, and the use of "presse défavorable" in that wide sense in so widespread that I don't see any potential for confusion.
And all that these people want is a report about [any possible] "adverse news" ever published about this supplier, which is not the same as an adversarial "news report" - after all, they are a business out to protect their interests, not a court of justice that needs to take a balanced view. |
