English term or phrase: To leverage more real estate

"Interactive Advertisements: The SPG increases advertisement effectiveness by supporting novel user interaction and personalization. It also allows advertisers to leverage more real estate on the second screen."

Mon essai :

"screen real estate

the amount of space available on a display for an application to provide output. Typically, the effective use of screen real estate is one of the most difficult design challenges because of the desire to have as much data and as many controls as possible visible on the screen to minimize the need for hidden commands and scrolling. At the same time, excessive information may be poorly organized or confusing, so effective screen layouts must be used with appropriate use of white space.

to leverage more real estate
présence bien plus efficace

Explanation:
"Interactive Advertisements: The SPG increases advertisement effectiveness by supporting novel user interaction and personalization. It also allows advertisers to leverage more real estate on the second screen."

"Real estate" is here used in a way similar to saying that you are liberating "real estate" on your work desk when you replace a bulky old style CRT monitor by a thin LCD screen.
The "real estate" here is the space that the advertiser managed to get on "the second screen", in front/in full view of a member of his potential target audience. That's his –he owns it for a very short time it's his "real estate" - and he's got to make the best use of it.
"To leverage" has many variants, all basically meaning more efficient use of some resource, here the resource being the presence of the advertiser's message on the "second screen".

neutral  Isabelle F. BRUCHER (X): Tu es sûr de ne pas avoir oublié le "more" dans "It also allows advertisers to leverage mor* real estate on the second screen" ?/ "more" se rapporte à "real estate", pas à "to leverage", sinon serait "leverage more THE real estate on the 2nd screen", non?
1 hr
-> je pense pas: "bien plus efficace" = "more leverage" in how the available "real estate" is used. The "second screen" is on a smart phone - the point is in the impact of adverts, not in the size of the area occupied on the screen.
