Bien sûr il s'agit d'un anglicisme, mais le terme est de plus en plus utilisé en français. Le dictionnaire du web nous en donne la définition (voir liens) et Commentçamarche.com nous fait un petit tutoriel sur comment avoir plus de followers sur Twitter. Donc "abonnés" pour la touche française, "followers" pour la touche tendance anglaise (voir liens).
