Je suis en train de traduire un texte sur les dangers du changement climatique sur la conservation des archives.
Voici une phrase dont j'ai du mal à comprendre le sens : "He stated it takes a while for archival professionals in the region to acquire an understanding and the interest in addressing the threats of climate changes on their archives. C'est la partie "to acquire an understanding and the interest in addressing" que je ne comprends pas. Est-ce "pour acquérir une bonne compréhension et la volonté de répondre aux menaces..." ?
