neutral  writeaway: it's for a patent. it's best not to guess imo. patent language is also highly specialised/not my field and target language is not my native language. No, a person acquires more credibility with answers that demonstrate (expert) knowledge.

disagree  Tony M: Neither of your refs. applies to this particular context, and it's really about alignment or correspondence, rather than the notion of 'assortiment'. Yes, but I don't believe that's the term we'd use, technically.
