direction de suppression du son Explanation: the clue is there: null directions = directions in which the gain of noise is suppressed IOW the sound coming from a "null direction" is registered by the microphone(s) but is deliberately "reduced to null" / suppressed / deleted from the resulting sound that is sent out from this recording system. that's a variation on the system that allows you to make a call from your mobile in strong wing or in the middle of heavy traffic - only the sound of your voice is amplified, the sound coming from elsewhere [i.e.from "null directions"] is "reduced to zero" or strongly suppressed. |
