Thanks for the additional information.

So "live-in vehicles" is used as an "all-encompassing/general" name for any vehicle that could be lived-in;

that additional information does make a difference as obviously you can't use more specific names like "caravans", "camper vans" that follow in the list that is supposed to give specific examples of the general category of "live-in vehicles".

"SEGREGATION OF TRANSPORT AND LIVE-IN VEHICLES
Camping areas must be separated from vehicle transport areas.
Specific areas should be set aside for live-in vehicles-caravans, camper vans, etc."

what's the link between a "live-in vehicle" and "Transport / Transportation / Shipping" ???

more importantly giving more context [like a full sentence] would make it clear if "live-in vehicle" was used in some general purpose non-specialised text, or if it's a very precise legal definition of a category of vehicles, used in a text where every little nuance matters.

In UK there are several categories of "vehicles that could be used to live in", and depending on the text, precision could be important or could be just unnecessary splitting of hair. But if you don't give enough context, no one can guess how much precision is needed.
