"Vers l'extérieur" s'oppose à "en interne"; Par ailleurs, je ne vois pas la mention du "matériel" dans le texte source, bien que ce soit assez implicite.
L'on pourrait peut-être utiliser "hors installations de la société" (ce qui n'est pas un modèle de concision, j'en conviens!).
