acronym for redoxpotential? ORP Explanation: ORP ist schon richtig, da ja auch im Deutschen vom Oxidations-/Reduktionspotential gesprochen wird. Eine Abkürzung für Redoxpotential ist mir nicht bekannt; falls im Text ersichtlich ist, dass mit der Abkürzung Redoxpotential gemeint ist, würde ich eventuell RP oder RXP verwenden. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 43 mins (2012-01-12 14:27:50 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Nun, man könnte in dem Fall vielleicht "Redoxpotential (Oxidations-/Reduktionspotential, ORP)" schreiben; allerdings spricht auch nichts wirklich dagegen, "Redoxpotential (ORP)" zu schreiben; dass die Abkürzung nicht unbedingt aus dem Begriff zu ersehen ist, ist aufgrund der vielfachen Verwendung von Abkürzungen aus dem Englischen (vor allen im chemischen oder medizinischen Bereich) nicht ungewöhnlich. RXP ist sicherlich keine offizielle Abkürzung, aber manchmal muss man sich seine eigenen Abkürzungen schaffen. |
