Hallo, ich habe hier Versicherungsbedingungen für eine Auslandskrankenversicherung zu übersetzen und bei den Ausschlüssen vom Versicherungsschutz heißt es:

This contract does not cover the consequences:
of infectious risks in an epidemic context,
of exposure to infecting biological agents,
of exposure to chemical agents such as war gas,
of exposure to incapacitating agents,
of exposure to nerve agents ***or to retentive neurotoxin effects***,
when they give rise to quarantine or preventive health measures or specific monitoring measures by international and/or local health authorities of the country of origin.

Der Begriff "retentiv" wird zwar in der Medizin verwendet, aber ich weiß nicht, es hier passt und ob sich "retentive" auf "neurotoxin" bezieht oder auf "effects" bzw. ob "neurotoxin" hier als Adjektiv oder als Substantiv gilt, also "retentive Folgen von Nervengift" oder "Folgen von retentivem Nervengift". Für beide Optionen finde ich eigentlich nichts beim Googeln.

Der Kontext mit Kampfstoffen hilft vielleicht bei der Interpretation und Hilfe.

Ich habe diese und ähnliche Formulierungen nur in Versicherungsbedingungen gefunden, die fast immer oder immer aus dem Französichen übersetzt wurden. Die ähnlichen Formulierungen lauteten dann zum Beispiel "remanent neurotoxic effects" oder "agents with residual neurotoxic effects". Ich vermute, dass Stoffe mit anhaltender neurotoxischer Wirkung oder die Auswirkungen eines Kontakts mit diesen Stoffen gemeint sind.
