Based on these findings, Dr. Hu tried to quantify astringent intensity via the difference in total salivary protein or polyphenol before and after interaction with beer or hop water extract designated as salivary protein precipitation index (SPI) or *polyphenol precipitation index (BPI*).

Gleiches Problem wie bei der vorherigen Frage und auch noch: warum BPI und nicht PPI? Haben die Autoren bereits mit anderen Fragen genervt und Antworten erhalten mit Entschuldigungen, aber das muss ich selbst lösen.
