Asker: Nein. Es geht um ein Tool, das den Vertriebsmitarbeitern die Arbeit erleichtern soll. Dies wird im Text veranschaulicht. Dabei geht es um die einzelnen Stufen/Stadien, wie sich der "Deal" (Geschäft, Transaktion?) weiterentwickelt. Mir fällt einfach keine treffende Formulierung ein.

neutral  Steffen Walter: Im hier relevanten Bereich "Vertrieb/IT" (siehe Kontext) ist wohl eher kein bilaterales Handelsabkommen gemeint. Das würde auch nicht zu dem Satz "I got an email from the seller that the deal has just progressed to become a key deal" passen.

agree  Wolfgang Hummel: Ja, im Prinzip mit Steffen. Um bilaterale Handelsabkommen geht es sicher nicht. Aber die Übersetztung "wichtiger Abschluss" scheint mir aufgrund der Zusatzinfo von Gisi doch passend.
