Nur eine Alternative. Der vollständige Ausdruck, "someone has your back covered", bedeutet eigentlich jemand beschützt/deckt dich (vor einem Angriff von hinten.)
"To have someone's back" wird aber auch im abgeleiteten allgemeineren Sinne (wie in Sibsab's Vorschlag) benützt: jemand unterstützt dich.
