Misprint? |

Reference: Misprint? Reference information: If this is an English word, then it seems to be misused to me. Mainly because I have only found references that say it is a verb, typically meaning to introduce/admit/enter (or cause/allow to enter). So a more grammatical usage would seem to be "In 1991, the intromitted person [...]", or perhaps "In 1991, the intromittee [...]". https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/intromit https://www.wordnik.com/words/intromit https://wordsmith.org/words/intromit.html https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/intromit Another possibility would be that it could be an attempt to render some Russian word meaning, say, "interim consultant" (perhaps as a title). But I find no evidence of that. |
